You Have No Idea

On my way out the door to the grocery store I had closed the door behind me and locked it. As I sat in the car I felt as though I should grab a few of the tracks I recently bought on line.

Having got them I put the ones I got into the pocket of my tee.

This morning around 8:30 am I called a friend of mine who lives about an hour and a half from me. She and I do this each morning because we both have problems getting into bible and prayer when alone. She calls me one morning and I call her the next. It works out very well for us. This morning our lesson was on service to God and we had prayed after study asking God to give us His will to serve Him.

Now I'm on my way to the store. Pulling into the first and only vacant space for handicaps I parked and got out. Across from my car I noted this nice little elderly couple getting into their car.

Reaching into my shirt pocket I got out one of the tracks. Thinking to myself, "Naw, this couple is probably very set in their ways and don't want to hear anything from me." Ignoring the voice in my head, I went over to the lady who now was beginning to smile.

"Hello", said I, "here is something for you to read". She took one look and began to tear up. Then she began to pour out her dilemma to me. The man with her confirmed the entire thing and before she told me her entire life history I said, "Let me pray with you both right now. God knows all of the problem and He will honor the fact that you were open to talk about it."

When I had finished they were smiling and seemed so at peace filled with joy. This is just one of many times God has given me a divine appointment and I am so grateful to Him.

I LOVE this story! So often we hear the voice of God urging us to do something and then we ignore it because we're afraid of what others might think of us. Praise God you listened!
